This category of the LPCC Awards aims to recognise companies and associations for their outstanding contribution and work in supporting business, innovation and entrepreneurship.

In Luapula Province, Musika has supported private sector efforts to develop an extension led ‘last mile’ distribution network for agricultural inputs.
Musika has also stimulated and supported private sector investment in the commercialisation of cassava, chilies and mango production by linking farmers to more improved and structured markets.

In accepting the award, Musika Managing Director, Mr Reuben Banda expressed gratitude to the LPCC for recognising the strides Musika has made in stimulating and supporting private sector investment in the province.

Mr Banda also thanked the traditional leaders for the important role they continue to play in creating an enabling environment for the private sector and smallholder farmers to do business.

“Team Musika, job well done and greatly appreciated. Special thanks also go to our funding partners; Sida, Norad, Irish Aid and WorldFish for the financial support to Musika,” he added.

The Award was received by Musika Northern Region Manager, Mr Mabvuto Chisi, during a gala dinner that was held in Mansa last weekend.
